The 3rd Annual Celebrity Golf Classic, organized by former NFL star Jason David, will be held June 24 at the Pacific Palms Resort at Industry Hills. The tournament will help raise funds for the Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) & Kaiser Permanente in Baldwin Park in support of kidney disease research.

A unique experience for deaf children, the United States Deaf Golf Camps was launched in 2004 by former Tour professional Rob Strano with only one goal in mind: to introduce deaf children to the game of golf. With camps around the country, Strano and his associates give golf instructions entirely in American Sign Language.

Hollywood funny man Will Ferrell has designed two unique charity golf tournaments with all proceeds going to the Cancer for College charity.

Anyone who donates $26 to the Cancer for College charity are automatically entered to win an opportunity to participate in either the Will Powered Golf Classic and Comedy Show or the grand prize to join Ferrell at the first annual Will Powered Invitational.

The Wounded Heroes Golf Classic, held on the weekend of June 25, 2011, is a charity golf event hosted by Canyon Springs Golf Club in San Antonio, Texas. The tournament will help raise money for the Hope4Heroes charity with the vision of helping veterans and their families.

The 8th annual Autism Awareness Charity Golf Classic will be held this year on Friday, April 29th at the Champions Course at Bryan Park. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Autism Society of North Carolina Guilford County Chapter (ASNC-GC) and their attempts to raise funds for teachers and families of autistic children.
