Courses & Resorts Golf Resorts Anguilla Golf Resort Sells for $15 Million

anguilla-golf-course-222CBRE Hotels has completed the $15 million sale of Temenos, a world-class resort on the southwest coast of Anguilla, with plans for a major refurbishment of the 275-acre beachfront property.

Leandro Rizzuto, owner of the adjacent CuisinArt Resort Spa, purchased the property in June with intents on improving the quality of the Greg norman-designed golf course.

“Upon completion, Temenos will be one of the most sought-after destinations in the Caribbean,” said Jeff Woolson, Managing Director of CBRE’s Golf Resort specialty group. “The development features nearly a mile of beach frontage, luxury residential units and Anguilla’s only golf course, along with an exhaustive list of the type of top-shelf amenities one would expect from a resort property as prestigious as Temenos.”

Improvements to the course will be followed by an upgrade of the Mediterranean-style clubhouse, which will offer event space, an outdoor terrace, a bar and a light grill menu when it opens this fall as the CuisinArt Golf Resort Spa.

CuisinArt officials are currently in discussion with investors regarding future development of a luxury hotel.
